The TGA Junior Team Golf League gives young golfers the opportunity to be part of a team with an introduction to competition.

League Structure

• There will be 4 teams ( 2 Teams from TGA of Bergen and 2 Teams TGA of Union, Morris, Essex); all teams will play 4 matches
• Kids age 12 and under will play a 3 or 4 person scramble 
• Ages 13-15 will either play a 2 person scramble or a 2 person shamble
• Each date will be a stroke play event. The team with the lowest score will be the winner.  

MATCH SCHEDULE

Match #1: April 30 @ The Meadows

Match #2: May 7 @ Galloping Hill

Match #3: May 21 @ Galloping Hill

Match #4: June 11 @ The Knoll

*dates are subject to change based on course availability (tee times will be late afternoon)

Practice Schedule (practices will be at Ready to Golf indoor simulator in River Edge, NJ). 

TIME: either 6:30pm-7:30pm or 7:30pm-8:30pm (Thursday, evenings the week leading up to a match)

• Practice #1: April 27
  • Blue Team: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Black Team: 7:30pm-8:30pm
• Practice #2: May 4
  • Black Team: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Blue Team: 7:30pm-8:30pm
• Practice #3: May 18
  • Blue Team: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Black Team: 7:30pm-8:30pm
• Practice #4: June 8
  • Black Team: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Blue Team: 7:30pm-8:30pm

Included in the fee are the following:

- Team Shirt

- 4 matches: All matches are on Sunday afternoons with tee times starting no earlier than 3:00pm

- 4 practices 

- Pizza and Awards following final match
