The TGA Junior Team Golf League gives young golfers the opportunity to be part of a team with an introduction to competition.

League Structure

• There will be 4 teams ( 2 Teams from TGA of Bergen and 2 Teams TGA of Union, Morris, Essex); all teams will play 4 matches
• Kids age 12 and under will play a 3 or 4 person scramble 
• Ages 12-15 will either play a 2 person scramble or a 2 person shamble
• Some kids may play up depending on their skill level
• Each date will be a stroke play event. The team with the lowest score will be the winner.  

MATCH SCHEDULE (possible dates - 9/17, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22

Match #1: September 17 at East Orange Golf Course (East Orange, NJ)

Match #2: October 8 at Rock Spring (West Orange, NJ)

Match #3: October 15 at Galloping Hill (Kenilworth)

Match #4: October 22 at The Knoll (Boonton)

*dates are subject to change based on course availability (tee times will be late afternoon)

Practice Schedule (practices will be at Ready to Golf indoor simulator in River Edge, NJ). 

TIME: either 6:30pm-7:30pm or 7:30pm-8:30pm (Thursday, evenings the week leading up to a match)

• Practice #1: September 14
  • Team 1: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Team 2 7:30pm-8:30pm
• Practice #2: October 5
  • Team 2: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Team 1: 7:30pm-8:30pm
• Practice #3: October 12
  • Team 1: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Team 2: 7:30pm-8:30pm
• Practice #4: October 19
  • Team 2: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Team 3: 7:30pm-8:30pm

Included in the fee are the following:

- Team Shirt

- 4 matches: All matches are on Sunday afternoons with tee times starting no earlier than 3:00pm

- 4 practices 

- Food and Awards following final match
